So often people have a sense that all is not the way they want in areas of their lives, but need to get a clear picture on exactly what the elements are that are causing the dissatisfaction. To begin creating change, it is vital to figure out exactly what change is needed.
2. Help you figure out what you want, and create clear and measurable goals. Once you have identified what you don't like about your current reality, you need to get a very clear picture of what you do want. When you know what you want, you can then define goals that will give you something concrete to aim for. Life coaching can help you to define what will be happening in your reality that will let you know that you have achieved what you set out to achieve.
3. Help you to identify your core values, and find ways to integrate these into your life and goals. Help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, and ways of capitalizing on the former and strengthening the latter.

5. Help you come up with alternatives on how to get from where you are now to where you want to be and help you select which alternative is the best suited to your needs and personality.

7. Help you identify possible obstacles that may hinder your implementation of the action steps. Help you formulate methods of handling these obstacles, should they arise.
8. Help you shift your attention away from the areas of your life that you are less than happy with, and transfer that energy into creating the results that you do want. Help you stay motivated and on track with your plan.
9. Provide tools and techniques that can help you to keep working towards and seeing progress in achieving your goal.
10. Help you monitor and assess your progress. Help you adjust the course you are on as needed. Help you to keep your vision clear in your mind, and celebrate your progress as you reach your milestones.
